Sh. Vipin Singh Parmar, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Himachal Pradesh government launched “TB Mukt Himachal Mobile App” from Kangra, app developed by Gurugram company (India), E-Tech services Private Ltd Company.
Anyone can easily download this app free of charge from Google Playstore. TB Mukt is a Hindi word meaning TB Free. Through this TB Mukt Himachal app, any individual can assess the risk factors associated with TB; learn details about the disease, such as symptoms of TB, diagnosis and management; and can also access details of all TB test facilities such as CBNAAT or DMCs. All contact details of TB test facilities are provided along with their GPS location. The contact details of all TB state, district and block level officers are also listed.
There is a separate section for volunteers and health professionals to register and join the fight against TB. The TB Mukt Himachal app is in sync with the Digital India initiative of the Government of India and with the vision of our Honorable Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi of ending TB in India by 2025.
